BURNOUT TO BREAKTHROUGH

Using a Whole Brain® Lens to Understand the Drivers of Burnout and Explore Prevention Strategies.

Employee burnout is at an all-time high of 66%*.

Burnout is not just an individual challenge - it’s a workplace and organisational issue with a real human toll on wellbeing and livelihood, and with significant costs to businesses in terms of increased absenteeism, reduced engagement, reduced productivity, and increased turnover. 


Burnout to Breakthrough is a strategic session that helps senior leaders understand what causes burnout, how stress contributes, and the role thinking preferences and workplace culture play in predisposing individuals to exhaustion.

In this module, we cover: 

  • The relationship between stress and burnout.
  • Workplace and personal factors that contribute to burnout.
  • How to recognise burnout in yourself and others.
  • Practical strategies to reduce risk and manage warning signs, seeing burnout prevention as an opportunity for meaningful systematical change.
  • Understand the possible legal implications of burnout for employers.


Key Outcomes:

By the end of the module, your team will

  • Understand the causes of burnout, including how workplace culture, workload design, and individual thinking patterns play a role. 
  • Recognise early warning signs of burnout in yourself and others, and respond before it impacts wellbeing or performance. 
  • Shift from reactive to proactive, reframing burnout prevention as a strategic and cultural imperative.
  • Collaborate and explore practical solutions in your context, to reduce burnout risks within your own team’s ways of working.
